About EAA Chapter 15!!! |
||
Welcome to our ChapterWhether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our chapter. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest. For more information on our chapter, please contact our president or webmaster via the contact information provided above. MeetingsGeneral Meetings. The monthly general meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month (generally – please check calendar). Our monthly meetings feature guest speakers, occasional technical counselor lessons, special events, socializing with other members, and sometimes food! Business Meetings. The monthly Board of Directors business meetings are usually held before the General Meeting in the conference room at the terminal. All chapter members are welcome to attend. If you have a proposal for a chapter project or event, this is the ‘time and place’ to present it for consideration. Please contact the chapter’s president about being placed on the meeting’s agenda. Member Activities Starting in the spring and ending in the late fall, our Chapter engage in various activities to keep the comradery between our members thriving. Whether it's a weekend fly-out to another Chapter's breakfast, a late Saturday night dinner fly-out or just a weekly cookout at one of our members hangars. Our members share their experiences and life lessons not only about aviation, but life in general. You're guaranteed to hear a story you've never heard before. Also, we schedule group outings to visit various places. Such past trips included the O'Hare tower and the deep tunnel. We're always looking for new places to visit and expanding our contacts.
